The purpose of this work was to practice painting with oil pastels in a more rough and freehand form. This is my attempt to paint the painting "Cabbage and Garlic" by Van Gogh. I chose a smaller sheet format to concentrate on the large strokes and overall shapes and to try to complete the work in as little time as possible.
