While working on this portrait, I wanted to progress into creating monochrome drawings. This time I decided to make it harder on myself and get away from the black and white scale, but still keep the drawing monochrome. I chose a gradient from milky white to emerald green, and tried to maintain a strong contrast in light and shadow relations and volumes to give more expression and stylization to the drawing.
