In this portrait of my Love in Photoshop, I tried to find a balance between imitation pastel effects and realism and precision in drawing.
In addition, I was still interested in learning and mastering more techniques in terms of drawing hair. This time I decided not to use Photoshop, but to use brushes with different textures to make my hair more natural and fuller of variety.
Also, another goal for this piece was to have a realistic and soft skin texture and to work on details instead of general shapes as it was done on previous pieces, which was a new challenge to combine and new to me brushes and the simulation of pastels in digital format.
