This portrait is my first experience of painting with oil paints. Before that I knew nothing about painting on canvas, solvents and varnishes. It took me a couple of days to get used to the specifics of oil paint, to understand its behavior and overlapping, but I was very satisfied with the result, moreover, taking into account the first try of painting with this paint.
