While working on this model in ZBrush, I tried a nanomesh tool for the first time to create a chain mail. This task was an initial goal for me, so I wanted to build the whole model around the idea of a chain mail.
While looking for a reference I came across the work of the artist named Viktor Titov (https://instagram.com/titovviktor/) and found it to be a great option for a 3d realization.
In addition, while working on the model, I set a goal to create a detailed metal texture on the character's helmet using the noise tool and fine brushes to work out the details.
The final render was created in Keyshot and composed in Photoshop. And the turntable gif was created in Marmoset Toolbag.
