Reptile
This was my second work in ZBrush, which's textures I have created in Substance Painter. Actually, textures were the main challenge in creating this model.
When sculpting in ZBrush, I wanted to focus on modeling more realistic muscles and the shape of the creature than I had in my previous works.
Before creating textures, I practiced again in creating a low poly version of the meshes in Maya and baking textures in Marmoset Toolbag to fully prepare the model for Substance Painter.
Creating textures, I wanted them to match the more realistic look of the model itself, with more natural musculature and grounded silhouette. It was a whole new experience since I hadn't worked with complex textures in a realistic way before. It was a great opportunity to elevate my Substance Painter skills and get a more realistic and complicated result.
The final picture was rendered in Marmoset Toolbag and composed in Photoshop. And the turntable gif was created in Marmoset Toolbag.
