The model was made in ZBrush and inspired by the Chainsaw man manga cover.
The work was complex and challenging, I tried to balance between realism in the model and textures and overall stylization in terms of shapes and colors, to give the picture a more similar look to the original.
The biggest challenge this time was to transfer the 2d drawing from the comic book cover into the 3d composition and keep it similar and believable.
It was also a serious task for me in terms of working with light when rendering. It was a new experience for me to assemble a render for a big scene like this.
However, it was a great opportunity to learn more about camera work, lighting, and post-processing in render. The final picture was rendered in Keyshot and composed in Photoshop. And the turntable gif was created in Marmoset Toolbag.
